83) MV Cill Airne Boat Bar, the Ship on the Liffey of North Wall Quay, D1

It's a ship on the Liffey! Novelty value is high. Originally built in 1961 and sailed many times back and forth to America. Enjoyable to sup a stout on deck in the sun, relishing the gentle bobbing of the water beneath. Views of the city are excellent. Life-affirming fresh air and invigorating wind for free. Squawking seagulls are fun – but try to avoid the spatter of their shit. You could never really call it a reliable local go-to, though – best visited only the odd time, to preserve its uniqueness. Popular on a summer’s day which will see the ship heavily laden. There’s a tiny third deck up another set of stairs, an outdoor snug so to speak. Views of the Poolbeg Chimneys are second to none. Did we mention it’s a ship? ...on the Liffey?
