Must be a small space in a separate room from the rest of the pub.
Must have a door for privacy.
Must have a hatch connected to the bar to receive libations without leaving the confines of the snug.
May have a lock on the door (optional).
May have a bell to the bar (optional).
May have half wood partitioning and half stained/frosted glass windows to allow light (optional).
False Snug criteria:
Must be a small space in a separated area from the rest of the pub.
Will not have the criteria 2 – 3 of the Authentic Snug.
May have a combination of any of the other criteria (optional).
