Considering the opulence of the surrounding district (it stands on the corner of the Albert Square East cul-de-sac), the Guinness is mysteriously cheap (4:40 euros a pop at last check! So good it can't last...and it didn't). A pleasant barmaid used to work in the Ginger Man up the road – a barman in the latter institution told us to tell her she was 'a betrayer'.

Update as of 2023: Becky Morgan’s is now ‘The Storyteller.’ Evocative name!
